One of the problems of radio as a musical promotion channel is that it relies on the DJ backselling the songs played between talk/commercial breaks. And often, for whatever reason, the DJ will only mention the song being outroed, rather than all the songs played in that block.

Consequently there were a number of songs from my youth that I heard quite a bit, but never knew the song title or the artist.

This is one of those songs.

I always liked this song, but no one ever said who it was by. Now thanks to the magic of random YouTube surfing, I know.

You know what? It’s still a good song. For the era, anyway.

Shame about the band name, mind.
