LISTEN TO IT #87: THAT HOODOO THAT YOU DO SO WELL
Tony Joe White is still alive and kicking.
And he has a new album out. Appropriately, it's called Hoodoo.
I like it. But then I do like White’s swamp-fox guitar style and that cool-breeze voice of his. It’s nice to know he’s still around doing stuff like this.
If you like stuff from his “Polk Salad Annie” days, I think you’ll like this as well. It’s good music for listening to whilst chilling out on the porch on a hot summer night at 1am with a tall whiskey-based drink in one hand.
