DEF PASSAGE TO BANGKOK: THE STORY SO FAR
A quick update between deadlines:
1. The flight yesterday was nothing like this [NSFW]. Should have booked Cheapflights UK.
2. Everything you need to know about the trip so far can be summed up in five Twitter posts:
defrog Eating comp cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon for breakfast, for I am professional journalist in Bangkok. Also subbing coffee with Chivas.
defrog MEMO: PowerPoint + Chivas Regal = who gives a damn?
defrog May have to cut back on the Chivas. Just overheard a tech conference delegate say she runs a dating service. That can't be right. Or can it?
defrog Spotted in Central World Plaza: 12-foot tall masked wrestler in sexy bikini Speedos. I'd take him home if he wasn't bolted to the floor.
defrog I have come to Bangkok to see The Future. And it is giant shopping malls with expensive wireless broadband. And MOS Burger.
NOTE: I have pictures of the lucha wrestler, but the hotel broadband isn’t that broad tonight, so there’s going to be no uploading on the Photobukkits until I get back, I think. Which will be tomorrow night.
There’s a little more to tell, but it’s back to work with me for now.
