forget about the 2m only camera or no-video-calls... the complaint I have with iphone is - it doesn't do "cut & paste" :P

So 3 is the network in HK for iphone. 3 has a pretty bad reputation in UK, mostly because of its weak coverage - actually no one I know here uses 3! but I've heard it's quite OK in HK. In any case, i am quite surprised that it puts a cap on the data... it's a real put-off, I don't even use broadband provider who put a cap on download/upload limit here.

but granted, that plan which covers unlimited data is still cheaper than the one I am paying here in UK (£35 a month), and you need to sign up for a £70 plan to get a free phone.

in UK, it's not too bad, cos most other "contract phone plans" here will cost you at least £20 anyway and switching cost is much higher than in HK.

I think they might need a re-think for a market like HK. After the novelty wears off...
