For the record, I forgot its 9/11 anniversary too until I opened the BBC webpage.

There's also the train bomb in Spain which led to Spain withdrew the "support the Americans" troop. But judging by how easy (still) it is to bomb the train and the tube
in Europe (or US?), there's really only one reason why it didn't happen more often - there just aren't that many crazy/determined suicide bombers available...

I suspect there are millions who sympathise with the suicide bombers/terrorists, or at least understand where they are coming from, but to jump from hatred to killing innocent people (and yourself)? It's still not a very tempting offer. One would REALLY want to have 12 virgins in afterlife to sign up for that...
