I do layouts. I have never built one completely from the bare bones up, though. I usually pick one I like and modify to suit my taste. :)

What's interesting is Mr. Howe did some serious research, apparently, into what fans wanted. It's apparent he researched only what the demographic he was AFTER wanted, however. I'm worried that #2 is either true or it's "you're too geeky for this party; we don't want your kind here."

Well, regardless of why, that's exactly what they're going to get. Hope they're happy.
