GREAT MOMENTS IN MARKETING: WHEN CLOWNS GO BAD, THEY GO VIRAL

I can take or leave viral marketing videos. I like them better when they’re honest about the branding instead of trying to pass themselves off as non-commercial.

But I’ll even forgive that – if they’re amazing as this short film for a new Philips 21:9 ratio flatscreen TV featuring a frozen scene of cops and clowns trying to murder each other.

Trust me – it's worth two minutes and nineteen seconds of yr time.

You’ll notice it’s designed to run in a continuous loop – which you can see on the actual web site hosting the video. It also offers some neat (if cheesy) extras to show you how they it.

Wipe that smile off yr face,

This is dF

One thing I love about it is how it uses one frozen moment in time to tell a story. It's a hi-tech 3D version of that game where you look at a photo and come up with the story that leads up to the moment when the photo was taken.
