I know that was a rhetorical question, but Heidi Montag is a 'star' from a MTV 'reality' show.
Meghan misses with the comparison, but her thoughts are in the right place. Heidi has been dragged through the mud (right or wrong) for her plastic surgery, not hailed. I don't know that Jessica Simpson has been attacked for showing any cleavage (outside of the usual crowd, who generally voted for Meghan's dad, so okay fair point). Jessica has been attacked for not being a skinny-mini, and if she did lose weight, she would probably be attacked for that, too.
Still, yeah, it's all a problem, and I'm not telling you something you don't know. Too fat. Too thin. Too many wrinkles. Not enough breasts. Too much/not enough butt. Then, if it's 'fixed', the surgery doesn't look real.
