THE SADDEST DAY OF THE YEAR

It’s Blue Monday, apparently. Or it was. Which means it’s all uphill from here, I suppose. Until next year, anyway.

Personally, my Monday was more stressful than sad – lots of interviews and writing to be done. And I can tell you from firsthand experience that The Blues can strike at any time and do not give a fuck about yr so-called Gregorian calendars.

So I do not recognize the authority of Blue Monday.

However, for those of you who still have the rest of the day to get through, just in case it’s not going well, I have just the thing for you:

For me, last monday was very stressful. Today is a semi-holiday, so I think that takes the edge off. I would go with last Monday or maybe next Monday (when I have my credit card bill), but what do I know?

You only get a half-day off on MLK Day? Or is his holiday one of those holidays that's optional?

I have to work.

I meant semi-holiday, as much of my work is dependent on people who work for banks and financial institutes. Bank holiday = Not nearly as busy.

It gives me something to concentrate on besides the Obama-Mania thats online, tv, etc... Don't get me wrong. I voted for him, but were hitting critical mass.
