LITTLE MISS VADER

FACT: When I took the bridal unit to see the original Star Wars trilogy (which, amazingly, she’d never seen before) during its theatrical re-release, she expressed disappointment with the ending, suggesting that it would have been cooler if Luke had in fact turned to the Dark Side, forcing Leia to become a Jedi and kick his ass.

You have to admit, she has a point.

By the same token, suppose it had gone the other way – suppose Leia turned to the Dark Side. Would the result have been this?

Probably not, but it gives me an excuse to post that picture.

They could always do a remake with Leia stepping up to be more hands on w/ the light saber. If Battlestar can cast Starbuck as a lady anything is possible.

There was always talk of Episodes 7-9. Why not make Leia the main character and have her go all Jedi on insurgents unhappy with the Empire's defeat? Topical!

I was always disappointed with Return of the Jedi. Started off good but then quickly descended into stupidity.

I liked it at the time, but I still maintain that the original (EP4) is the best of the lot.
