As if you didn't know.

FACT: The Blues Brothers is one of the greatest achievements in cinema (in the sense that it's one of only two movies to ever successfully transform a three-minute SNL comedy sketch into a decent and funny movie).

Sweet home Chicago,

This is dF

"The Blues Brothers" is a modern day classic! I got the 25th ann. dvd for my dad for Father's Day, and it was a perfect gift, he LOVED it!

HIT IT.

Speaking of which...how about that naughty boy from Illinois last night. NOOOOOO not Obama. Mr. Shimkus from Collinsville (R) who walked out during the President's speech. I had to look himup and I found this gem.

"In May 2007, Shimkus was ridiculed on many blogs for comparing the war in Iraq, during a speech on the floor of the House, to a baseball game between "my beloved St. Louis Cardinals" and "the much despised Chicago Cubs."

I missed the part about Shimkus walking out. Sounds like a class act.

I'm glad you asked.

And the answer is:

Wayne's World.
