HK ACID RAIN, PART 6

Meanwhile, here’s how the weekend went:

I wasn’t there, no.

But this is the sixth time this has happened since December 2008. This one happened at Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei, which is a popular tourist spot because of the night market and food stalls – which is probably why it rates coverage outside of HK, now that tourists are gettingt hurt.

They’ve never managed to figure out who’s behind this. And the guy they arrested this time turned out to be a false alarm.

Big fun, eh?

Previous acid coverage here.

Everywhere I go it rains on me,

This is dF

what I am afraid of is that it's some kind "acid attack facebook" community thing... I doubt it's just one person. The places are usually with old buildings where the roof are accessible to nearly everyone...

very nasty.

I thought of that too – it could be teen punks doing it for secret points on Friendster or something. On the other hand, if that was the case I'd have thought there'd be more attacks.

But that said, it could be triad-linked too, some initiation thing. At this rate I wonder if they're ever going to find out who it is. The best bet now may be for a relative or boyfriend/girlfriend to rat someone out.
