ok, so how could she NOT know something was there?

It's probably a combination of the actual size of a baby bat (which I'm assuming is tiny)+ a bra fitting mishap of some kind.

I guess so, but sheesh, I've had a baby's sock in one of mine before and it was so uncomfortable from the moment I put it on.
