Donald Trump’s latest plan to save America from The Terror Islams:

1. Close the borders

2. Close the internet

The first one speaks for itself – as does the factoid that even Dick Cheney is like, “Whoa dude, c’mon, that’s un-American”.

The second is worth a pull quote:

"We're losing a lot of people because of the internet," Trump said. "We have to see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what's happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that internet up in some ways. Somebody will say, 'Oh freedom of speech, freedom of speech.' These are foolish people."

To be totally fair, I get the feeling Trump thought this up somewhere in the middle of the speech he was giving at the time (which may be how most of his policy ideas originate, for all I know).

But it does indicate he knows as much about the interwub as he does about foreign policy.
