Ah ha ha ha! You are so young! And perhaps you grew up in an area that didn't have a "rock" station on the radio. Music stations, at least in my area, are so mired in the past that I've pretty much stopped listening to them, unless I'm scrubbing a floor at work and I want a distraction. I can see why people may have abandoned listening to radio altogether. As for Kayne West, I know one song, Power, and that's because of an awesome My Little Pony video on YouTube.
