I've been aware of the Incels since 2014, when Elliot Rodger going on his rampage inspired me to write Recycled comments about the men's rights movement on my personal blog, Crazy Eddie's Motie News. In that post, I recounted how I've been dealing with men's rights advocates (MRAs) online since 2005. That's the parent movement of the incels and their mirror images, the pick-up artists (PUAs). I didn't know the mass murder by motor vehicle in Toronto was motivated by rage at women at first, but when I found out, I was not surprised. Elliot was there first.
