Paul Newman is gone, and while I can’t say I’m a major fan, I’d rank The Hustler, The Color Of Money, The Life And Times Of Judge Roy Bean and Blaze as some of his best work.
And of course, Cool Hand Luke, which is not only one of the greatest movies of the 60s, but also features possibly the greatest car wash scene ever filmed.
Okay, so Paul isn’t exactly the focal point of that scene. But you see what I’m saying.
Oh, and his salsa wasn’t half bad, either.
