Nov. 1st, 2008 02:06 pmI’m not sure who decided to put NaNoWriMo and NaNoBloMo in the same month, but since I post damn near every day anyway, I guess it won’t add to my workload that much. So I hereby declare my candidacy for NNBM, albeit in an unofficial capacity. (The site requires you to create a profile and post there. This arrangement does not appeal to me. So I’ll just post here as usual and declare myself a winner if I pull this off.)
So let’s kick the month off with a Happy 100th Birthday to Converse, which is celebrating with a special edition of shoes with ... yes ... a Black Sabbath theme.

They have some other Sabbath models (and The Doors as well, which are also nice), but this is the best, for my money.
For emphasis, here’s one of my favorite songs off that particular album: “Snowblind”. On Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert, of all things.
