THE SADDEST DAY OF THE YEAR

It’s Blue Monday, apparently. Or it was. Which means it’s all uphill from here, I suppose. Until next year, anyway.

Personally, my Monday was more stressful than sad – lots of interviews and writing to be done. And I can tell you from firsthand experience that The Blues can strike at any time and do not give a fuck about yr so-called Gregorian calendars.

So I do not recognize the authority of Blue Monday.

However, for those of you who still have the rest of the day to get through, just in case it’s not going well, I have just the thing for you:

No, really.

So there’s this photo meme that oberonia  showed me. It goes like this:

And so I go to my images folder, and find I don’t have six folders in it, because I don’t organize my pictures that way, and so I have to improvise, and I think, “So should I start with the sixth oldest, or sixth newest, or sixth largest by pixels, or what? And do pictures I didn’t take myself count?”
