HELL DOESN’T WANT YOU AND HEAVEN IS FULL
Oct. 22nd, 2011 12:47 amSo the Rapture happened today. Again.
Here’s how that went, in case you missed it.
At least it had a nice soundtrack.
Poor old Harold Camping. It’s almost cruel to make fun of him at this stage, not least since he had a stroke after his previous prediction failed to happen (although technically it did, just not the way he expected). But he’s certainly guilty of duping the gullible, although I should say I don’t think it’s intentional – which is to say, I think Camping really believes it’s possible to predict the Rapture. Still, I don’t feel that sorry for him, or people silly enough to believe him (though I do feel bad for their kids who have to grow up with it).
Oh well. There’s always the Mayans.
PRODUCTION NOTE: BTW, if yr wondering where the footage for the Tom Waits video came from, here you go.
DISCLAIMER: That film isn’t about the Rapture. Which is okay since the Tom Waits song isn’t about the film. So, you know, it all balances out somehow.
The devil shovels coal,
This is dF
