I HAD TOO MUCH TO DREAM LAST NIGHT (WITH SPEACIAL GUEST STAR UNKNOWN HINSON)

Apparently Unknown Hinson and I have collaborated on a song, because the two of us are going to do a podcast interview. Only Hinson in this dream looks less like the actual Hinson and more like a cross between Hunter S Thompson in his final years (bush hat included) and Slim Pickens in his prime.

Anyway, we arrive at the interview place – the interviewer is Agent K, an old friend of mine. Hinson greets her with some inappropriate hugging and kissing and fondling, mumbling, “Hey darlin’.” She looks a bit rattled by this. I apologize and explain it’s just his way of saying hi and he does it to everyone, including me.

The interview starts and Agent K asks how the collaboration came together. Hinson mumbles a bunch of sexual innuendos and makes references to silicone. I say it started off with email correspondence and really the collaboration was me contributing a guitar track and some vocals over the Internet to a song he’d already recorded. I emphasize it’s just the one song for now.

And then I woke up.
