IT'S NOT ALWAYS BETTER ON HOLIDAY
Oct. 2nd, 2012 08:21 pmI understand this is getting international coverage, so for those of you who may have seen this, I’m not one of the casualties.
Obviously.
There will be an investigation, of course. Collisions like this are relatively rare in HK (considering how much shipping traffic we have), and even rarer still when that many people die as a result. I’m hoping no one I know was on either boat at the time, though as I don’t know anyone who works at Hongkong Electric, so it doesn’t seem likely.
Anyway, I was going to post something about the fact that I’ve hard to spend most of my four-day weekend in bed recovering from a twisted ankle and a busted knee in a completely unrelated and much less spectacular incident involving my dog and an uneven piece of concrete.
But that doesn't seem like a big deal now.
