DEÄTHMÜFFIN UPDATE: FERME LA PORTE!

It’s been a year since yr former new favorite band Banäna Deäthmüffins released our first music video. And since then, we constantly get asked: “Yr not going to do another one, are you?”

The answer has been usually along the lines of “Probably.”

And “probably” is NOW.

BACKGROUND: This actually started as a practice run/jam session for a Facebook-based music project where everyone takes a set of drum tracks, does something with them, and submits them to the group.

It wasn’t supposed to be the final product. But I had this long list of non-sequiturs lying around for possible song purposes, and figured, “Hell, Jim, why not?”

As for the official submission? It’s about done, and you’ll be hearing that soon enough, kids.

PRODUCTION NOTE: The title means “shut the door”. It’s a 20-year-old inside joke.
