As you may or may not know, Donald Trump is running for something, and he’s already losing – Miss America broadcast contracts and sponsors, that is.

All because he dared to inform America that Mexicans are drug addicts and rapists, mostly. Which is not racist, he says, because it’s true.

He can even point to an article on the internet proving it is true. Only the article doesn’t actually say that illegal immigrants are rapists, which led to this exchange with CNN’s Don “Try Not Getting Raped” Lemon:

“That’s about women being raped,” Lemon told Trump, “it’s not about criminals coming across the border.”

“Somebody’s doing the raping, Don,” replied Trump. “The thing is women being raped, well, then who’s doing the raping?”

I believe Trump just figured out his 2016 campaign slogan.

Trump 2016: Somebody's doing the raping

He probably won’t need it for long, of course. Trump is basically the hot sideshow attraction in the GOP race, and one that many GOP players feel is “not helpful” to the GOP brand. Except for Ted Cruz and Steve King, of course, who praise The Donald for his plucky truthiness. Which is fine since (1) King isn’t running for POTUS and (2) most of the GOP hates Cruz almost as much as they hate Trump.

As for the Miss USA pageant snubs … I’m not a fan of beauty pageants anyway, and it’s a moot point since Reelz has now agreed to carry the show. But as has been said elsewhere: freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom of consequences. Trump has a right to say what he wants, even if it offends people. And NBCUniversal, Univision, Macy’s et al have a right not to do business with someone who goes around saying things that offend people.

Free markets!

With everyone focused on the SCOTUS ObamaGayCare Marriage Apocalypse ruling, I thought I’d point to a few other SCOTUS rulings you might have missed in all the hubbub:

1. Voters have the right to draw their own districts, not just politicians with obvious conflicts of interest.

2. You no longer need proof of citizenship to register to vote in Kansas and Arizona.

3. Texas abortion clinics get to stay open for the time being.

4. If yr housing policies result in racial discrimination, you can’t defend the policies by claiming you didn’t mean for them to be discriminatory.

5. Congressmen convicted for bribery don’t get to argue that the evidence collected to convict them constitutes political harassment by the govt.

6. The EPA can’t enforce emissions limits in the Clean Air Act because it didn’t consider how much it would cost companies to comply.

7. Lethal injection by midazolam is not cruel and unusual punishment even though it can take agonizing hours for the inmate to die.

As you might notice, some decisions favor liberal opinions, while others favor conservative opinions. Which clearly means SCOTUS is biased and lawless and a danger to the country … except when it isn’t, then okay.

Conclusion: Americans don’t really want an independent judiciary. They want a judiciary that embraces their own partisan political ideology and always rules in their favor.

Don't judge,
