defrogITEM [via Pink Tentacle]: Japanese pianist Yosuke Yamashita recreates a performance he did in 1973 in which he sets fire to a piano and plays it until all the strings break.
How hardcore is that? Let’s see Yngwie So-Called Malmsteen try that with a f***ing guitar.
FUN FACT: Mr Big’s guitar player once did the same thing with an organ.
But that was just for an album cover, so it might not count. On the other hand, he lived in Japan for years and knows a lot about local music, so there might be a connection.
