Not just immigrants, wasn't there a woman who died in a waiting from in a hospital in Brooklyn because no one bothered to check in on her? And it was caught on tape?
I don't know whether it's a strictly an illegal immigrant issue or more to do with race (again). In UK, they certainly don't consider Aussies or other caucasian looking foreigners as "immigrants".
