So Rudy Ray Moore is dead.

Which probably means nothing to you unless yr a fan of really bad (and very funny)  blaxploitation classics like Dolemite, The Human Tornado or Disco Godfather.

Which I am.

Granted, Moore’s sense of humor – much like low-budget B-movies in general – isn’t for everyone, and sometimes even by my own decadent standards he overdoes it. But I have to respect anyone who built up his career by selling his comedy albums (and later videos of his movies) out of the trunk of his car. He's also arguably the person who taught Samuel L Jackson the proper and most effective delivery of the word "motherfucker".
