Actually, here in HK Halloween is more of a pop culture/party/excuse to dress up thing, but not much trick or treating goes on. Otherwise, the pagan/spirit tradition aspect of it doesn't exist here.
But we do have the Hungry Ghost Festival, which is fairly close.
