Oh, the pressure to keep being the proverbial carrot. *grins*
I have a couple of people who have been motivating me too. I took on a NaNo newbie as a mentee and she flabbergasted me on Saturday and wrote 20,000 words in one day and has already exceeded 50K. Wow! I won't be able to do anything that spectacular, but it was fun to watch.
I think your novel will be even more fun because you are having fun writing it. I'd love to read it when you're done.
Well, it's back to writing. I have another 800 words to write before I have to leave for the office. ;)
