defrogOne of the funny things about (1) being born in the mid-60s and (2) not being formally introduced to the Beatles until junior high school is that my Beatles education happened one solo record at a time.
For example, thanks to the daddy bringing this 45 home and playing it for me, I was listening to this Ringo Starr song before I knew he used to play in some other band.
FUN FACT: Naturally at age nine I didn’t get most of the drug references. But I found waking up on the floor funny. And it mentions my hometown. Which impresses you when yr nine.
