defrogThis one slipped under my radar – possibly because I was flying back to Hong Kong from Hawaii at the time – but Jimmy Castor went to Heaven a couple of months ago.
Then again, Jimmy Castor wasn’t exactly at Whitney Houston levels of fame. Which is ironic as some of his 70s songs with the Jimmy Castor Bunch have been sampled by big names like Beastie Boys, Mos Def, Kanye West and Spice Girls.
I’ve blogged before about growing up with one of his 45s. So here’s a song of his I haven’t posted yet.
