Peter O’Toole is gone. As you know.

I can’t add much to what’s already being said about him, so I’ll just post this clip from the first movie I ever saw him in: My Favorite Year.

The movie overall is brilliant, but O’Toole knocked my socks off with this performance, and it got me to watching some of his other films, the best of them (to me) being The Lion In Winter, The Ruling Class and The Stuntman, among others.
