I’m informed that Michael 'Würzel' Burston – formerly of Motörhead – is gone.
Technically I got into Motörhead during the Eddie Clarke years, but Würzel and Phil Campbell were more than worthy replacements, and I have several albums from that era.
1916 is one of them, and while it’s not exactly the greatest Motörhead album ever made, it does feature one of their best songs, as well as one of the best opening riffs in rock history, says I.
Respect.
Also, condolences to the person on my F-list who actually used to hang out with Würzel. Which is, I need not tell you, awesome.
Bought the farm and I won’t sell,
This is dF
