defrogITEM: Someone’s been going round East London defacing adverts by decapitating the models – and posting the results on Flickr.

Naturally, some people will find this more amusing than others. Some are taking it as misogynist, although Wired’s Jenna Wortham sees it more as another case of ad hacking. Which is more likely – honestly, it looks like the analog equivalent of Photoshopping memes to me. And for all anyone knows, The Decapitator is a woman. And possibly a Tim Burton fan.
We’ll probably find out soon enough. Bet the charges will be more than just vandalism, though.
