You know it’s going to be a fun election year when Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter say publicly that if John McCain gets the GOP nomination, they’ll support Hillary Clinton.

Though at least Rush is a bit more honest in his motivations:

“The reason I'm raising money for Hillary is because, apparently, my party, the Republican party, is relying on fear and loathing of Hillary to unite the party.”

The thing is, he’s probably right. Unless Ann Coulter’s not joking. It’s really hard to tell with her.

I haven't been following this except in passing.

However, Coulter's motivation seems to be that Hillary is more of a GOP'er than the GOP.

Oddly, there is logic here.

Such as back when Bill was President, and moved to the Right.

Also, as she is criticized for this, Hil has voted for the war, and continued to vote to continue the war.

All true points, even if it does turn everything into Bizarro world.

Fair call. On the other hand, given the source, it's hard not to see it as some kind of bizarre attempt to derail Hillary's campaign by ... I dunno, making liberals back Obama? Or maybe confusing them into voting for McCain the Libtard? Then again, given the source, she's not nearly that clever to come with something convoluted.

I am so confused by this....I can see getting dissed from Coulter, but from Limbaugh?

I mean, I do find it very amusing and I've always been on the fence with McCain, but, where in the fuck do these people get off bad mouthing a veteran? If anything, he would know how to fight terrorism from military experience alone, way more than Ann Dipshit could....

So confused....so confused....it's gonna be a great fuckin' year...
