defrogWe are at Typhoon Signal 8, as Fengshen took an unexpected left turn and basically plowed right into us.
The good news is that by the time it got here, it wasn’t running at full strength, so it’s more Severe Tropical Storm than Typhoon. In any case, so far it’s mostly the usual case of bamboo scaffolding being ripped from buildings, and we have a few less trees than we did this time yesterday.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the fact that I get to work from home today (as everything closes during Signal 8, including the ferries running to and from the island I live on), have some Stevie Ray Vaughn.
