NOT AT ALL TIRED OF BEING SEXY

The debut album by Brazilian art-punk band Cansei de Ser Sexy was one of my favorite albums of 2006. (They're also the inspiration for the tag I use for music-related posts like this.)
They’ve just released the follow-up, Donkey. In fact, they’ve put the whole thing on their MySpace page. Because they know the future.
I’m liking it. They’ve inevitably traded off some of the quirky charm that made their first album essential for a more professional sound, but as indie disco pop goes, CSS are still worth yr while to get to know.
Evidence follows:
PRODUCTION NOTE:There's no video for the song – it's audio only. So yr Flash player isn't broken. Never mind, there's video there now.
FUN FACT: Q magazine gave the new album only two (2) stars. That’s mainly because they only like you if (1) yr Coldplay or Radiohead, (2) you sound like you might just sell more records than Coldplay or Radiohead, or (3) you have someone in yr band named Alex Turner.
Which shows how much Q knows.
Let’s make love,
