defrogITEM: A sex survey has found that Australians who enjoy bondage and discipline are not damaged or dangerous, and might even be happier than those who practise "normal" sex.
Yes, this is apparently news. Though to be fair, I guess it IS news to most people who know what little they know about it from Hollywood movies and TV shows, where BDSM people are usually portrayed as disturbed murderers who were raped as children.
Still, there was one interesting finding in this study:
Well, duh. I personally find that a good spanking cheers me right up.
Not that science will change anyone’s mind about such things, especially these days. That said, I do wonder if mainstream acceptance of BDSM would take the fun out of things like, oh, S&M Hunter.
