I might have missed this link, except that this sample photo grabbed my attention.



There’s something in the facial expressions that just mesmerizes me. Like they know you can’t look away even if you wanted to – and they know you don’t.

I highly recommend this instructional video to get an idea of how the drawings work. It’s disorientingly cool. And decidedly NSFW, so beware.

That's amazing. They look like sculptures, not 2D drawings.

Reminds me of some things I saw in a doco about Brett Whitely (famous Aussie artist, I wrote a paper on him at school), where he shows you the process he uses for drawings--putting the lines on overlapping pieces of paper and then moving and turning the leaves to exaggerate the effect he likes... sort of like an analogue photoshop.

We tried both the dark and milk chocolate. From what I remember the milk was tastier. I'm not sure I'd take the chocolate covered bacon over a delicious cupcake though.
