I can’t decide which part I like better: the shirt toss, the gunfight hallucination or the horse sound effect.
The explanation couldn’t be simpler: it’s a TV commercial for Japan.
I love TV commercials from Japan. They are awesome playgrounds of the bizarre.
Mandom, you may like to know, is stil around. Among other things, they make the Gatsby line of male personal care products. And their commercials are still hilarious. Here’s one of their deodorant commercials that’s been running here on HK television for the past year or so.
Not much change since 1971, then.
PRODUCTION NOTE: I’m not kidding or being ironic. I truly love these things. I wish all American TV commercials were like this. Tell me it wouldn’t be an improvement.
