Here’s the real reason I endorsed Barack Obama for president.



It’s not about Mac vs PC (although yes, I am blogging on a MacBook) so much as the fact that Obama looks very comfortable behind one.

I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s worth repeating. McCain eyed PCs with suspicion and reportedly never sent an email (which has been f***ing free since the late 1990s, for God’s sake) in his life.

But this, THIS is a POTUS who is prepared to deal with the 21st century on at least a user-friendly level. Know why he has that one? So he can video-chat with his kids over the Interwebs.

I feel good knowing the Leader Of The Free World knows how to iChat. As opposed to a President who might say, “Ooooooo, what does this button do?”

Of course, I’m sure Sean Hannity or someone will devote a 20-hour exposé investigating whether that’s really Obama’s Mac and how much Steve Jobs paid him in “campaign contributions”. Yes, well, fuck Sean in advance for everything he’s probably going to say for the next four years.

You're being too generous to Hannity. Only for the next four years? I say fuck Hannity in advance for everything he's going to say for the rest of his life. A guy like that isn't going to get smarter as he gets older, just more bitter, more angry, more insane and more prejudiced.
