BREAKING: I’m not a big American football fan, but there’s one season-end event I always tune in for, and some of you enjoys teh gridirons, so I thought I’d let you know that if you were planning on tuning in for the big showdown this weekend, you’d better make alternate plans.
Yes. This year’s Lingerie Bowl has been canceled. Again.

I’m sorry.
Amusingly, it’s been canceled over concerns about nudity.
No, really. Something about staging this year’s event at the Caliente Spa and Resort [NSFW] – a “clothing optional” facility where nudity is actually mandatory at the swimming pool. Caliente agreed to ban nudity on the actual playing field and sports area (because after all, you can’t have nude people on pay-per-view television) but LB organizers wanted more of the resort designated mandatory-clothing areas.
It’s easy to argue that the LB people should know better to stage a TV event at a nudist resort. But then the LB has always had trouble finding people willing to host a sports event involving women playing full-contact sports in lingerie. Which is odd, because the WWE never seems to have that problem.
But then the WWE isn’t tarnishing America’s biggest team sport. Not anymore. All Americans know that football is a man’s sport, and that lingerie babes should stay on the sidelines where they belong doing dance routines and cheering on the studs.
Insert tight-end joke here,
This is dF
