For those of you who would like to know more about the Top 20 Def New Albums of 2007 (as chronicled last week), we recommend the Official Team Def compilation, now available for download.

And because we’re all about personalization in the 21st century, Team Def gives you a choice of cover art.

We also give you a choice of download options.

And remember, every time you click a download link, God kills a Pussycat Doll. Because downloading is bad. Look what it did to Robbie Williams. I’m only posting links here because, to hear the RIAA tell it, I became a criminal the moment I ripped the CDs to my hard drive. So, you know, I might as well distribute them all over the Interwub. In for a penny, etc.

I make it a career of evil,

TECH SUPPORT NOTE: Let me know if you have trouble with the download links. I’m trying MediaFire this time, so not sure how well it works.

DRM WARNING: The Bloc Party track may or may not work on some players. When I tried to import it into my sound editor, it would only do so at half the bit-rate – the effect of which was like playing it on a turntable at half-speed. I fixed it for the mix session, but I've seen this kind of thing before, where there's no obvious DRM on a track but the record company still monkeys with it a little to limit what you can do with it. And so the CIA can track you. Obviously.
