YR NEW FAVORITE BAND ...
Feb. 28th, 2009 02:10 pm... does not exist. However, cover art is available.
Glommed from various.
INSTRUCTIONS
1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to "Random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
(Be sure to credit whoever you stole the photo from)
4. Assemble.
And yr winner is:

Not to be confused with my previous band, Savage Justice.
Not too bad, though the result suggests I’m in a generic mid-90s indie pop band, albeit one with a female singer. If it’s Dominique Durand, then it’s all good.
PRODUCTION CREDITS
Photo: Psychedelic Tuna (original here)
Band name: a section of San Francisco where Sam Spade lives.
Album title: "The truth which sets men free is for the most part the truth which men prefer not to hear." – Herbert Agar

on 2009-03-01 04:02 am (UTC)Anyway, in this case I have an excuse, which is that a lot of the Flickr photos I got were copyright-protected, with no download option, making them difficult to use. So I had to hit the reload button anyway, and as long as I was doing that ...
The band name and quote are, however, the first results I got.
