How can you post Batman stuff when the Watchmen come out today? Just joking. I have no idea 'bout those Watchmen. I hear the kids dig it though.

I read Watchmen about a year after it came out. It's sitting behind me on my shelf even as I type. It's pretty legendary in comics circles, being one of the first comics series to prove that superhero stories could be done as intelligently as any "proper" novel (provided it was written by Brits).

The comic has to be better.

We went to see it last night up in Evanston. I really liked the character of Walter Kovacs / Rorschach (played by the beloved Kelly Leak from the Bad News Bears), I liked the upfront brutality of his part of the story line, but the rest of it was silly if not bad. Not get up and leave the theater and sneak into another movie bad, but if it were on tv I'd reach for the remote control bad.

HOWEVER, the preview for Terminator 4 LOOKS AWESOME. I told Mofus we should take the day off from work and go see it the day it comes out.
