I GIVE YOU THE FINGER DRIVE

PART 1: Earlier this month, Alberto Villarreal of Zanic Design did up a concept for a USB finger as “visualization” exercise.

PART 2: Software consultant Henri Bergius reveals that his friend, a Finnish software developer named Jerry Jalava, actually had a USB finger made almost a year ago to replace a finger he lost in a motorcycle accident.

The difference, of course, is that Jalava’s USB port is attached to the prosthetic finger, not the real one. According to the legend, it started as a joke when his doctor made a joke about a thumb drive. The rest is history.

It’s 2GB, if yr wondering.
