DOWN AT THE CEMETERY
Apr. 4th, 2009 04:05 pmIt’s the Ching Ming Festival today, but we’re not doing any grave cleaning – although the bridal unit’s mom did up some calligraphy of the names of all her family members that have passed away, the most recent being her sister, Leung Poon Wai, who we imported from a Malaysian nunnery to live with us. She died in mid-2007 (age 97).
Tally: 16.
Tally including our dog Dodo who died the same year: 17.
Anyway, their graves are well looked after, so we’re staying in.
And since I posted Blind Lemon Jefferson last year, and there’s no good video for “Cemetery Gates” by the Smiths, here’s the Ramones being buried alive in “Pet Sematary”.
Which is a little sad considering Joey and Johnny are gone (as well as Dee Dee, though he’s not in this video). On the other hand, they’d probably appreciate the irony.
I don’t wanna live my life again,
This is dF
