IOWA: NOW TOTALLY GAY
Apr. 4th, 2009 08:32 pmJust in case you missed it:

Three states down, another 47 to go.
Cue the usual press releases decrying the impending gay doom. And of course, the next step will be to “fix” the state constitution with a Prop 8 patch, though the current state legislature doesn’t seem inclined to go that far.
Still, it’s not likely to end here, just as it hasn’t in California. But it says a lot that court ruling after court ruling shows that the anti-gay contingent is on the wrong side of the law on this issue, and the only way you can constitutionally discriminate against a group of people is to rewrite the constitution to enshrine that bigotry.
Chew on that, why doncha?
Anyway, Team Frog sends congrats to the LGBTs in Iowa. Enjoy yr equality while supplies last. And watch out for Mormons.
It’s a nice day to start again,
