Coming to a DVD near you next week from The Asylum, the movie company that specializes in low-budget cash-in rip-offs of bigger films. Which may or may not be clever.

FACT: My friend Mr Cat Taylor and I used to have a mock rivalry over who would get to date Debbie Gibson. We eventually channeled that into one of our band projects, The Avenging Disco Godfathers, in which we did a drunk-punk cover version of “Shake Your Love”. I also learned how to play “Foolish Beat”, although the band broke up before we ever worked into the show.

So yeah, I’m a fan. In a weird, twisted kind of way.
