And yes (puffdoggydaddy ), I know what yr thinking – if they’d let Frazetta design the costumes, you’d have Athena and Cassiopea running around in metal thongs EVERY WEEK.

I remember the top illustration. IIRC it was used for the novelization of the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA two-hour pilot. Which was released theatrically or is that BUCK ROGERS I'm thinking of?

Never saw the second one before but man is it sweet.

I'm also reasonably sure the top one was used for the novelization of the pilot. Alas, I can find no definitive proof on the Webs and the physical proof (for I own the first six or seven BG books) are in my mom's basement in East Tennessee somewhere. So it's not like I can go look.

And yr right, BG did get a theatrical release. I don't think Buck Rogers did. Not in Nashville, anyway.

I use to go into Kmart with my mom when I was a kid and go browse the LPs while she was shopping. I remember seeing a Molly Hatchets LP and thinking that I had NOOOO idea what that was supposed to be or how that related to rock and roll.
